Review "Her" dvd The Os version of Blade Runner. A film of contradictions. A Sleeper like Shawshank Redemption.

The music was fantastic, the writing amazing but, It would have been much better without the cussing. The movie would have generated a much larger audience (still will, if this is edited out). The cussing breaks the emotional mood. There was a lack of attention to details and marketing thus, poor execution. Steve Jobs would not have released the film with this much below it's potential still showing. The lighting, camera angles, plainness of the main characters was overly down played.                                            Amy Adams could make an open sewer look incredible; see her in "Enchanted". I had to look up Scarlett Johansson as the voice of the Os, glad she doesn't sing. Is there a Therapist in a box like this Os?... I'd like one. Too many of the things in the short physical "love scene" were easy to improve and was extremely too short and the ending was unfulfilling.                                                            All this being said, I hope a extend remake version is released. The film was a long attention holding, emotional, roll coaster. I will re watch again soon and update. Well done.

Review "12 Years a Slave" DVD Movie

5 Stars minus, 1 from the abuse of Religion and another because parts are almost impossible to watch.   The endless horrors of slavery similar to many people with a lot of pigment being beaten and treated worse than violent animals. Redemption at the end. But Epilogue and credits to too small on the 19 inch screen to red. I would watch this main character in any other film he acts in. Better than the Passion of the Christ. I wish this film was produced long before I was born. Horrors in past lives. I watched all the extras. idk why I haven't heard of this film before.

300 Rise 2014 Missing many of the elements of the first 4 star movie - "300" 2007

Weird bad soft porn scene, horse running was bad cgi, no love scene. The way king Xerxes was "made" was not explained. All the blood was black, not red. The creatures could have been sharks instead on strange dragons swimming. Maybe this should be 1 star...

Transcendence movie review 2014 Johnny Depp

Makes you " not " think. God does work this way. Premise - man creates himself into a god then, destroys himself.  The film had a good flow but, mostly didn't make since. Morgan Freedman can't act and maybe never could. Johnny Depp seems to be permanently stoned. I would have gone Big time fast, action special effects. Bottom line - skip this one.
